He has been encouraged to come out of his room and this has been enforced at times for his own good which is difficult to implement at home. He has had to interact with others and ask for things which has helped him combat his confidence issues. He is accessing therapy and being assessed for any issues he may have. He is eating and also eating food he may not usually which means he is and adapt to circumstances if pushed. He hopefully knows this means he can push himself and gain independence.
All staff very friendly and supportive.
Thank you.
Good - nurses, assistants, chef - every other member of staff looking after he at the Sett. The staff are so caring, nursing and willing to help. It is the hours and hours they have spent talking with Jack and interacting that has led to him doing so well. The support given to us as parents has been tremendous, whether over the phone or in person during visits. He has built up huge respect for Elliot, his assigned nurse and talks fondly of all the others.
Greg and Jess thank you for all your work with him and the referral to DBT - A.
